This is a reflection of how I feel today! I've been to 3 rummage sales in 3 different villages. Drove 77 kilometers (50 miles) of tiny windy roads through 2 provinces. And what did I end up buying? Only 9 euros of things (just someone else's old used stuff!).
I'll tell you, I had a great time and didn't mind spending so little. I was accompanied by Marlinda who, on the other hand, spent at least twice what I spent.
It was a very satisfying but tiring day.

Cross Rally in Amsterdam
Easter Weekend: April 3-4, 2010
We went to the "bakbrommer races". Translations for this are "carrier moped" or "triporteur". Basically it is a moped or a motorbike with a carrier in front. Each and every one is different because they are all handmade.
There is a driver and the "bakkenist" or the one who leans to the left, leans to the right and holds on for dear life while taking the curves. This course was particularly difficult because we had just had a week of rain and, at some places, the mud was ankle deep.
Look! Here comes Alexia (with the red hair) at the start of the rally.
More friends, after taking a few rounds, looking a bit tried. Erwin at the wheel and Marcel doing the lean.
In a few days, check my other blog: www.judieye01.blogspot.com for the rest of the series.
